Send a postcard
In these strange times, when we miss people, can’t go out for coffee and birthdays can’t be celebrated, it’s nice to be able to send a card. And then one that is beautiful, sweet and personalized
Real mail is so much nicer
Sending cards and being allowed to receive them, I have always loved doing it, but now even more so. It’s a strange time. We miss our family, don’t celebrate birthdays together and can’t stop by to give grandparents a hug.
How nice then to send a real post.
Always keep writing
I have always remained a writer, even though I do a lot on the computer. I still like writing. I write entire Bullet Journals, diaries have few empty spaces and I just like to write cards and letters.
Expensive stamps
And although I love to write and send mail, the price of stamps scares me every time. Recently I sent cards to my mother and sister. I needed a stamp for the Netherlands but the one for my sister has to go to America. When I have to pay, I have the feeling that they don’t want you to send anything anymore.
For what high amounts say!
Everyone likes receiving cards
I still want to keep sending cards and letters. I also like to receive mail and so (even though I find the stamps so expensive) I keep sending them. But what do I send?
Positive messages
On the site of Liefs Linne I found cards with texts that I always love to send, but this time might cover it even more. You will find here a thank you, enjoy, hug and positivity card but Linne is busy expanding the collection. They are beautiful sleek cards that say it all with the words!
Sometimes you don’t need more than that. They come with an envelope, so you can write all over the back if you want to.
Buying these cards myself
If you want to buy these cards, go to the site of LiefsLinne and use the code LODIBLOGT. From all orders with this code, Linne will choose one person who will get his or her money back.
So even though I find stamps alarmingly expensive, I still keep sending cards and writing letters. It’s a little extra personal and that’s exactly what we need right now.
