Strong babies- online Christmas baubles action
Christmas looks different for a lot of people this year. We will see less family and have fewer contacts. Still, things go on, like charities. Strong Babies has set up a campaign to research preterm birth.
Do you help?

Support each other
Perhaps this year the sense of togetherness will be greater than ever, after all we are now noticing how much we need each other. How much we miss each other, but also planning together. A small donation to this charity for example, can already help them a lot and gives you a good feeling.
How does it work exactly?

Strong Babies – our ambition
Every day an average of 50 new parents have to deal with the premature birth of their son or daughter. Every day in the Netherlands 2 babies die as a result of being born prematurely. 10 babies a day sustain lasting effects from their premature birth, ranging from cognitive problems to physical or mental disability. We often don’t realize it, but this makes premature birth the biggest cause of death among children in the Netherlands. Strong Babies’ ambition is to reduce the rate of preterm birth by 30% within 10 years.
That means thousands of babies getting a healthy start in life.
Strong Babies funds scientific research in obstetrics and neonatology. We focus on better detection, treatment and prevention of diseases before, during and immediately after birth and of congenital defects.
